Hi folks,
Sorry for not writing sooner, but it’s been a wonderfully busy week. We had the first show of the Mozart Requiem. Sold out with a line going around the block, nearly all the way! The front of house manager and I had a very serious talk, and he told me I need to stop selling tickets. But I just cant help myself. So that’s that, I guess.
Tomorrow’s show is also nearly sold out, but Thursday (Halloween) is tame, for now at least.
If you’re into something much more relaxed, consider “Chopin & Champagne”, a new concert series I’ve launched in midtown. Combining a little champagne (Moet & Chandon) and a unique concert combining conversation and music by the legendary composer—Frédéric Chopin. I’m really happy about this new format of concert, and it seems like I’m not the only one! Tickets are a little pricey, but that way we can afford to make it more intimate and serve good champagne.

November is far but we have a great concert featuring violinist Doori Na. Mendelssohn violin concerto and Haydn’s 104th symphony. A perfect program if I’ve ever seen one.

Experienced Requiem last night. It was phenomal. We love what you have brought to Brooklyn. Our first concert with you was Mahler's Titan. Equally great production. Looking forward to the next one!
